Upcoming Events 1/16/23
BASIS students and families can look forward to a busy start to the new year with several important events on the calendar.
On Monday, January 16th, BASIS will observe MLK Jr. Day with no school. However, for students in grades 6-8, the school will be offering PreComp Success Workshops on Wednesday, January 18th, and Thursday, January 19th. These workshops are a great opportunity for students to get a head start on preparing for their PreComp exams, which will take place on Tuesday, February 7th through Thursday, February 9th.
On Friday, February 10th, BASIS will have an early release day, with school ending at 1:00pm. This will give students time to rest and prepare for the school's Winter Formal, which will take place that same evening from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity for students to dress up and have some fun with their friends.
Presidents Day on Monday, February 20th will also be a day off from school. However, on Wednesday, February 22nd, there will be a Coffee with Admin event for upper school students from 8:15am to 9:00am. This is a chance for students to meet with school administrators and discuss any issues or concerns they may have.
In March, BASIS will be celebrating International Women's Day on Wednesday, March 8th with a special event. The school will also be observing Spring Break from Friday, March 17th through Monday, March 20th, with no school on those days. The last day of Trimester 2 will also be on Friday, March 17th, with Trimester 3 starting on Tuesday, March 21st.
We hope students will take advantage of these upcoming events and make the most of their time at BASIS. Whether it's preparing for exams, having some fun at the Winter Formal, or meeting with school administrators, there's something for everyone at BASIS.
