How to choose a college that's right for you!

There are hundreds of colleges to choose from and that can be overwhelming. You have to do tons of research, visit the campuses, go to the college visits and so much more. After all of this, you finally have to choose which colleges you want to submit applications to. Here are a few tips to help you find out which colleges are a good fit for you.

Location

If you do better in hotter temperatures, you should look at colleges in Florida, California, or texas. Some colleges in these areas are UCLA, Rice University, and FSU. However, if you like the cold and cozy up to the fireplace, you might want to stick to new york or consider Boston and Alaska. These states offer great colleges such as Boston University, NYU, and Middlebury.

School size

School size is essential since larger schools typically have more specialized degrees while smaller schools offer more one-on-one attention from professors. Depending on what environment you work best with can influence the colleges you’re interested in.

Campus environment

The campus environment involves your interests. For example, if you’re really into sports, you may want to consider UVA since they are known for football and basketball. On the other hand, the University of Texas offers many programs if you want to be more involved with extracurriculars.

Hopefully, this helped a little bit. Don’t worry though, you still have plenty of time to make a decision!
