BASIS Independent Manhattan (Upper School)

On November 22nd, students went to school only to find a new building a bit more than 70 blocks away from the original campus. What is this new school and what does it entail? The new school on W22nd St, 11th Avenue was opened after pressure from both parents and students, and everyone was pleasantly surprised. The new school has a lobby, a first floor for lower grades, a second floor for upper grades, and the upper 2 floors have lockers and lounge areas consisting of lounge chairs and a conference table surrounded by office chairs, while the lobby has a cafeteria. School food at BASIS Independent Manhattan (Upper School) is served by Butter Beans and consists of breakfast and lunch. After the school opened, one thing is for sure, the wait was worth it.
